Refinery Sustaining Capital Program

TWD has been steadily building our workload at the Sarnia Refinery since 2012. We are established as one of the 3 main EPCs employed by the Sarnia Refinery for sustaining capital, MOC expense, and RIK work. TWD is one of the 3 main multidiscipline EPCs typically used the by the refinery and as such have completed a wide variety of projects involving all engineering disciplines and most typical refinery infrastructure. Projects have involved the following process units:

• Crude Distillation
• Vacuum Distillation
• Catalytic Reforming
• Catalytic Cracking
• Alkylation; Hydrofining
• Diesel De-sulphurization
• Sulphur Recovery
• Product Blending and Storage
• Plant Utilities (steam generation, compressed air)
• Wastewater Treatment

Success highlights of our Sarnia team supporting the refinery sustaining capital program include consistently executing projects on budget and on schedule, IPA success by the refinery relative to other assets with support from TWD, continued growth of our team at site through onboarded secondments, as well as expanding on our one team approach through scope engineering work package drafting, TWD relationships with Project Managers, rapid response for site issued, and turnaround staffing.
