Challenge

The Côté gold project is an operating open-pit mine, located in Northeastern Ontario. The project has a mining life of 18 years. Processes include crushing, grinding, gravity concentration and intensive leaching, ore leaching, carbon-in-pulp (CIP) recovery, recovery of precious metals by electrowinning (EW), and smelting to doré. The project emphasizes sustainable and responsible mining practices, incorporating modern technologies and stringent environmental standards.

Showcasing our expertise in engineering and compliance with Canadian codes, TWD provided a team of highly skilled Canadian code engineers specializing in structural, electrical, and mechanical considerations. The team brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the project, ensuring that all design and fabrication activities adhere to the stringent Canadian standards and regulations applicable to mining projects. TWD also ensured the design and fabrication of equipment in the United States complied with Canadian codes for the use on Canadian mining projects.
